Carl Bruckner, LMT
Myofascial Release Therapist
I have been interested in finding ways to help others realize their full potential for more than 10 years. I’ve studied Hatha yoga and began teaching to help others achieve their personal goals. My time as a yoga instructor taught me the value of adaptability, communication, and respect for individual abilities and levels of progress. It also taught me about human physiology and the importance that motor systems have on overall health and wellness.
I first experienced Myofascial Release (MFR) as a patient seeking treatment for chronic back and pelvic pain. My experiences with this work were so profound that I changed careers and completed the 730-hour program at the Sarasota School of Massage Therapy, to open my own practice and offer MFR to clients who also experience chronic pain and other physical and emotional issues.
“The power in MFR therapy lies in the considerate nature of touch: rather than attempting to force movement within a closed system. The therapist works with the individual to expand the fascia through a collaborative hold-and-release process. This process could be incredibly powerful for people of all ages with a variety of backgrounds and challenges.” – Carl Bruckner
I hold a Bachelors Degree in Materials Science & Engineering and a BA (major) in Psychology. I spend much of my free time in Nature and my interests include ninjutsu, psychology, spirituality, philosophy and yoga.
